Shabbat Shalom! WOW – this is the 1,000th post on the Boulder Jewish News!
For a community that used to see only 1 or 2 articles a week (if that) in the local press, we are finding an incredible wealth of information, opinion, news, event stories, reviews and more. We are privileged to meet more readers and more of the curious each week – how does it work? What do subscribers get? Does it cost?
We would like to take a moment to kvell about the accomplishments of the last year. Over 80 members of the community have shared stories, articles, reflections, poetry and more with all of us. We all benefit from the conversation that’s been started in Boulder.
These stories reach beyond Boulder. The Boulder Jewish News website gets about 2,500 unique visitors each month. Of those, about half are from Colorado. Another 15% or so are from California and New York. In just the last month, visitors from 48 states checked out the website. Outside the US, more visits come from Israel and Great Britain than any other country.
In case you haven’t explored lately – spend a few minutes on Boulder Jewish News. Read a few articles, or visit the Community Calendar to see what’s happening. Read the twitter stream on the home page for a minute or two. Take a look at the links in the blue section at the bottom of the page (scroll down to see it) – those are links to other websites (and the title of the latest articles on those sites). Share an article, tell a friend, leave a comment, enjoy a photo – these are all ways to help Jewish news flourish in Boulder. Books, film, food, events, opinion, photos – all that and more in just the last week (check out the links below), and with the Festival of Books and Culture now in full swing, stay up-to-date right here.
Onto the next 1,000 posts!
