This October, the Boulder JCC is hosting several opportunities to gather, learn, and protect what matters most.
Spotlight Event: Community Table Lunch & Learn
Friday, October 2 | 11 am – 1 pm
Sharing a warm meal with neighbors is fundamentally transformative. The upcoming Community Table Lunch & Learn is more than an afternoon meal; it is an intentional space designed to cultivate deep human connection and meaningful adult learning, tailored for 60+.
Join us on Friday, October 2, from 11 am – 1 pm, at the Boulder JCC to enjoy lunch, and learn about stroke prevention and awareness from Jonathan Greenwald, a medical professional with 30 years of training and experience. The program is open to everyone in our community, 60+, regardless of income. We offer a flexible, choose-your-own tier pricing structure so you can select the contribution level that best fits your budget—no questions asked.
Special Gathering: Grandparents Coffee Gathering
Tuesday, October 20 | 8:30 am – 10 am
Grandparents are invited to come to an informal, drop in, social coffee to meet and connect with other grandparents in the community. We know that there are joys and oys in every grandparenting scenario. Whether your kids are local or spread around the country or both, there is someone you can connect with at this coffee.
Special Seminar: Financial Scams & Cybersecurity
Tuesday, October 20 | 10 am – 12 pm
Scams are becoming more sophisticated, convincing, and difficult to recognize. Join specialists from Charles Schwab and wealth managers from Colorado Capital Management on Tuesday, October 20, for a practical conversation about warning signs and what to do when something does not seem right. We will share real-life examples and practical ways to reduce the risk to yourself and the people around you, with plenty of time for questions. Livestream available.
