News on several fronts this week. . . first, congratulations to Boulder Jewish News contributor Dr. Jenni Skyler (Sexy Shabbos with Dr. Jenni). She was named the 2010 Young Careerist in the annual competition organized by Boulder Business and Professional Women. Welcome to Daniel Bennett, interim head of Boulder Jewish Day School. Congratulations to Bruce Wildman, newly elected President of the Boulder Jewish Community Foundation. And more congratulations to the winners of this year’s Chidush Awards and to the honorees at Saturday night’s Har HaShem Prom. Whew!
Hope you’ll check out the Community Calendar if you haven’t yet. There’s also a small calendar on the home page that scrolls through upcoming events of the next few days (find it on the right side, scroll down a bit). On the community calendar you can:
- View events by day, week, month or a list
- Filter by organization to show only one or a few at a time
- Select a certain date to view
- Search events for keywords, like speaker names
Speaking of calendars – there’s also an Omer Counter on the site also, it’s on the right side and tells you what day it is in the count. You can click on that to go to a site with the blessing for the day.
Have a great weekend!
