Judy and Mark Megibow will provide musical entertainment at BJDS’ Annual Event on Sunday, May 2nd. The talented mother and son duo will be performing Jewish favorites from a variety of backgrounds including Israeli, folk, Yiddish and Klezmer. Judy is a life-long flautist, having performed in orchestras, chamber ensembles and folk groups across the country. Before moving to Boulder, she founded and performed with Knoxville’s Tennessee Schmaltz Klezmer band. Mark adds guitar, percussion, and his powerful voice to the duo. For the past eight years he has performed with the popular all-vocal rock band, Face.
