My remarkably accomplished brother Martin Bernheimer held a unique place in the story of my life. He passed away on September 29th.

Tillie Singer (Tobi Rivkah bat Shmaryahu), passed away very peacefully on the morning of May 7, 2019 in Maryland at the age of 103.

Barbara Price (Bracha bat Matan v'Sima), mother of Liz Marlowe, passed away on Shabbat March 9, 2019.

Margot Goldman, mother of Michelle Goldman, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019, just a day shy of her 88th birthday.

Gabrielle Haddad Hayoun, Gabrielle bat Miriam, mother of Sylvain Hayoun, passed away Friday December 21, 2018 in Vincennes, France,

Barbara Moliver Hubar z"l, Sara Sturtz's mother, passed away early Thursday morning, December 13, 2018 at age 95.

Frederick Levine, Ephraim ben Peretz Yisrael, z"l, father of Bob Levine, passed away this past Monday, December 10, 2018.

David Bornstein passed away Monday night, October 29, 2018 from Alzheimer's.

Alan Sandler, father of Matt Sandler, passed early morning Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in New York.

Aviva Marilyn Robinson, mother of Abby Kone Robinson, passed away on Sunday afternoon September 23, 2018, right before Sukkot in Michigan.

Phyllis Dinhoffer, mother of Kara Mertz, died on September 14, 2018 at her home at The Carillon, just three months after her beloved husband Joel. 

In these frightening times where anti-Semitism and other forces of hate are alive and well in our world, we have an obligation to remember Doris Small, Devorah bat Moshe u’Miriam, and to tell her story, even though it’s no fairy tale.

Doris Small passed away early in the morning of September 3rd, 2018, with her daughter by her side. The funeral will be Tuesday, September 4th.

Tamar Michele Bradley, sister Josh Goldstein, passed away the morning of July 25, 2018 in New York.

Who here does not feel richer and a little more complete through knowing Irene Ilona Rosenschein, who has left the most extraordinary legacy to every single one of us whose lives she touched?

Irene Rosenschein, Yitta bat Yisrael v'Bluma Hendel passed away on Thursday evening, May 17th, after a long journey.  The service and burial will be Friday, May 18th at 2:30 pm beginning at Bonai Shalom.
