Brianna Freidman, daughter of David Freidman and Rabbi Tirzah Firestone, passed away on July 10, 2019.
Brianna was born March 19, 1985 and passed away July 10, 2019. She is survived by her parents, her four siblings, and her wife, Carmen Hansen.
Reb Tirzah writes:
We are heartbroken to send you the news that our beloved daughter Bri tragically took her life this week. This does not align with the Bri we know and love. We are shocked and grief stricken.
Bri was a bright shining light in our lives and those of so many others. Gratitude was her watchword and sacred practice, and we are and shall always be infinitely grateful for her presence in our lives. She was a true gift from God. We loved and love her more than words can possibly express.
Bri’s funeral will be at Nevei Kodesh on Monday evening, July 15 at 5:00 pm, followed by the burial ceremony at Green Mountain Cemetery (20th and Baseline) in Boulder. You are very welcome to join us.
Please wear white if possible—not black—and we will stand as a column of light to guide her way on.
Given the circumstances, we will not be holding public shiva minyanim.
With love and sorrow,
David and Reb Tirzah
