Herbert Erwin Horwitz, beloved father of Rhonda Horwitz-Romano, died peacefully on Shabbat afternoon in Rhonda and Leonard’s home, surrounded by love, with Rhonda by his side. He was 88 years old and touched many people with his sweetness. Rhonda describes her father as “the great man, the holy man, the medicine man and gentleman we all know and love as Chaim Yitzhak Ben Zion Ben Yosef haLevi V’Rifka.”
