Louisville Skates Through Night 8

Henry Rasof Lights the Full Chanukiah

The Louisville Jewish community came out in force Sunday night for skating, lighting, sufganyot and hot chocolate for the eighth and final night of Chanukah 5780/2019.

Henry Rasof was this year’s Lamplighter, and handled the blessings and lighting all 9 lamps with aplomb.

This annual event was hosted by the Boulder County Center for Judaism, and jointly sponsored by the Boulder JCC, JEWISHcolorado, Hazel’s Beverage World, the Oreg Foundation, Schad Farmers Insurance, Ed and Julie Victor, and WinterSkate. The Boulder County Center for Judaism is grateful for the support of these sponsors and thanks the Starbucks at 459 McCaslin Blvd, Louisville, for their donation of hot water for the cocoa.
