Week in Review: October 26th, 2012

Shabbat shalom! Brrrr! Let’s be thankful we’re only seeing one part of the “Frankenstorm” that’s supposed to hit the northeast during next week. However, our weather might be heading to Detroit, which won’t make for very good baseball.

Many of you have likely already voted – doesn’t that feel good? For the rest – early voting is open our area. If you are using a mail-in ballot, be sure to put a stamp on it, or drop it off in person. Click here for a list of polling places, early voting, service centers and ballot drop-off locations. You can also check to see if your mail-in ballot was received and accepted by clicking this link and entering your information. If you are a first-time mail-in voter, you may need to include a copy of your identification (e.g, driver’s license) along with your ballot. This includes all first-time Colorado mail-in voters like students.

This weekend includes the Chidush awards, this year honoring Morah Yehudis Fishman. And we’ll see you at the BJCC’s Exclusive Preview of First Bite Boulder!

Have a great weekend!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
