Rabbi Gavriel Goldfeder, rabbi of Aish Kodesh, and Professor Andrew Schwartz of CU Law School will be co-facilitating a C.L.E.-accredited class on the topic: “What does the Bible say about corporations?”
Exploring such questions as limited liability, alienable shares, and property ownership and seizure, Goldfeder and Schwartz will explore similarities and differences between the American legal view and the traditional Jewish view.
The class will be from 12:30-1:30 on November 7th and 8th at the office of Marsch, Fischmann and Breyfogle, 1881 9th St #335 in Boulder.
JEWISHcolorado Board Chair Rob Kaufmann and Interim President and CEO Renée Rockford were among 30 Federation leaders representing communities across the United States and Canada who took part in an extraordinary, 24-hour visit to Israel to express their concerns with Israeli leaders on the proposed judicial reforms and to convey the implications these changes will have on the North American Jewish community.
On March 6 and 7, the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC Denver) will host its annual crowdfunding fundraiser called Tzedakah 4 Kids (T4K). T4K is a two-day long effort to raise money for the Robert E. Loup Scholarship Fund.
