Shabbat Shalom! Hard to believe that November is here already. Particularly when we in Boulder have already seen two feet of snow and it’s only the 4th of November… The community is still basking in the glow of our Boulder Jewish Community Center’s very successful coming out party for its Cornerstone Capital Campaign Wednesday night. Be sure to check out the event coverage in BJCC Building Campaign Tops 90% and watch the video and slide shows in Taste of JCC Event Pictures and Video,
There were lots of other things going on in the community this week; the last few Festival of Books and Culture events and a panel with five rabbis discussing plurality and diversity among and between the various denominations and the larger secular Jewish population both in Israel and in America just to name two. Next week is just as jam packed with the Jewish Federations of North America bringing their General Assembly (GA) to Denver Sunday through Tuesday; Ambassador Oren at CU Monday, Ruth Messinger from American Jewish World Service on Tuesday night, AJF’s Choices dinner Wednesday night and the Men’s Event Thursday night… quite a line up.
It’s a great time to be Jewish, and next week in particular is a great time to do Jewish. Just do it!
