Week in Review: July 29th, 2011

Shabbat Shalom!  A slow (and some ways sad) week.  Our hearts and prayers go out to the families in Norway affected by the horrible attacks there, and the family of the late singer Amy Winehouse.

Today BJN launched its new daily email service, powered by MailChimp.  We hope you enjoy it, and if you do like it, please forward it to your friends!  Also launching this week is a bit of trivia fun. Watch for an indepth answer after the weekend – but feel free to leave comments and remarks in the meantime.

Enjoy the weekend — it’s the Dragonboat Festival in Denver. . .summer fun at Walker Ranch on Sunday. . . and peaches are starting to appear. Life is good!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
