Children’s Peace Garden Camp

Our Garden Is Growing!

The Boulder JCC garden is plush with a wide array of vegetables. Our preschool campers have been dutifully tending to the crop and we have been reaping the benefits all summer long.

We are pleased to present in partnership with Growing Gardens and Hazon the Children’s Peace Garden Summer Camp at the “J”. This exciting camp experience will give kids a direct and deep connection with adamah (the land), plants, and Judaism while building relationships and having tons of fun doing it. The week will be filled with experiential gardening activities, relay races, insect scavenger hunts, bee hive exploration, art projects, as well as creating yummy recipes from our garden.

Three days of camp will be held in the JCC gardens, while the other two days take place at the Children’s Peace Garden in North Boulder.

What better way for your child to get a healthy start on the school year by connecting with the earth and growing they’re own veggies?

The camp runs next week, August 1-5 (Monday through Friday), from 9am-Noon. Group 1: Ages 4-6. $165 for JCC Members, $180 for Guests. Click here to register.
