Week in Review February 11th, 2011

Shabbat Shalom! This week started with a bang – the annual Reflections gala for the Boulder JCC. And it may have been one of the most photographed events in the Boulder Jewish community! Find great photos here and also check out the Boulder JCC Facebook page for albums from Booth 66 and West End Photography as well as the tribute video.

On to next! The 2nd Sunday Symposium is this week (see link below), and yes it’s ok for Jews to celebrate Valentine’s Day (we know you all wondered about that). If you see the BJN’s junior tech support dude, wish him a happy 16th birthday too (don’t worry, we’ll warn alert you when he starts driving). All that and more – check the Community Calendar to keep it all straight!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
