Shabbat Shalom!

A holiday in the middle of the week tends to slow down the news – hope you all had an excellent Shavuot.  Congratulations to local graduating high school seniors (including Boulder Jewish News contributor Lauren Fellows, Fairview ’10). Also this weekend – the Nevei Kodesh “A Night in Rio – Samba and Simcha” event.

Organizations around town are getting ready for the Boulder Jewish Festival, coming up on June 6. You’ll find the entertainment lineup as well as all participating artists, nonprofits and food vendors on the Festival site, and updates are also on Facebook and Twitter (@boulderjfest). Have time to help out that day? Contact any of the participating organizations or join the day-of-event volunteers Meetup group.

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
