A formal decision by a group at New York's New Paltz University may in fact be the most ominous harbinger for the future of the American Jewish diaspora.

With all of the horrendous human rights violations across the globe, three "human rights" organizations,  Amnesty International,  Human Rights Watch and B'Tselmen are rarely heard from except when they fill the airwaves with the allegation that Israel is an apartheid state.

As the celebration of Martin Luther King Day approaches, it is important to remember Dr. King's  strong support of Israel and Zionism. 

Bruce Ticker rightly questions the meaning of "Palestine" as presented by three individuals whose backgrounds do not lend themselves to Middle East expertise.

Members of Congress are paid  large six-figure salaries and many thousands of dollars more in perks to make decisions, that is, to vote  Yea or Nay — not to vote “Present.” 

The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) applauds Governor Polis, Representatives Garnett and Neville, and Senators Garcia and Sonnenberg for honoring Major General Maurice Rose with a sculpture on the grounds of the Colorado State Capitol. We also thank the community members who pushed for this honor.

The Palestine Return Coalition wants the right for Palestinians to live anywhere they want including within Israel, yet the Palestinian Authority has stated that Palestinian refugees will not be awarded citizenship in the state of Palestine nor will they be allowed to settle within the Palestinian governed areas.

The teachers' unions in San Francisco and Los Angeles that are supporting Omar Barghouti's antisemitic genocidal BDS movement ignore the reality of Barghouti's cause. ("War and Peace: The Shape of Teachers' Anti Israel Drive", Bruce Ticker, July 1, 2021).

Ed Kass's 'A Conversation we do not have, but need to' (Column: Saving Israel from Herself, May 27, 2021) betrayed a shockingly low understanding of the constant existential threats Israel faces.

If you want to produce a column urging Jews in Israel to be more humane to the Arabs, it would help if you get someone who respects the facts.

There are a few grains of truth in Ed Kass' commentary "A conversation we do not have but need to" which belie his entire misguided argument.

Ed Kass is entitled to his opinion, but as the late New York United States Senator, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, said -- he is not entitled to his facts.

We are also saddened by the killing of George Floyd.... But we were also disappointed by some parts of the statement.

The newly formed Israeli coalition government promises to focus on only COVID 19-related matters, with one glaring exception: by July 1, the government can proceed with the process of annexing portions of the West Bank.
