It’s Tu B’shvat Today, Why Don’t You Pick Up a Date?

Tu B'Shvat fruits. Why not pick up a “date” or another fruit that you have not eaten since last year?

Tradition has it that tonight is the New Years for trees.  We celebrate by eating and enjoying the delicious fruit that The Almighty has blessed us with.  Of course the main thing is to say the blessings and thanks to Him before we eat.

If possible one should eat a “new” fruit and recite the special blessing “Shehecheyanu” which Thanks The Almighty for giving us life, and allowing us to experience this special day!
