Rare Opportunity: Craft Your Own Shofar

While we know you’re not the type of person who toots their own horn, we hope this year you’ll become the type of person who toots their own Shofar.

Please join us next Wednesday, September 9, 5:30 pm, for a rare opportunity to craft your very own Shofar.

That’s right, you’ll start with the rawest of materials and end up producing a sound that’s raw and spiritual.

You’ll soak, clean, sand, drill and polish your own Shofar and emerge with a family legacy heirloom.

Come solo and make friends there or bring along friends and family. This is an adult centric but child friendly experience.

The Shofar Making Workshop is $36 per family or per Shofar.

RSVP ASAP as the Shofars will go fast!

Any successful organization needs a heart and that is what Chany provides, along with organization, marketing, innovative programming, and countless Shabbat dinners. Some of her accomplishments are large and public like the annual menorah lighting on Pearl Street and the matzo and shofar factories, while others are quiet and private like the time she spends counseling individuals and sharing the wisdom that comes from study.
