This Week for CU’s Jewish Buffs – 4/1

After a waaaay too long hiatus, and a waaay too short Spring Break, Boulder Jewish News is proud and happy to re-introduce this school year feature for the CU community, prepared by BJN’s newest intern.  Here is this week’s schedule:

Wednesday

Holocaust Remembrance Week – Survivor Talk: Hear Maria Krenz tell her story with regards to the Holocaust in Hungary at 5:00 pm in Hale 230.

Holocaust Remembrance Week – Documentary screening: Head over to Hillel at 6:30 pm for a screening of “Three Siblings.”

Thursday

Holocaust Remembrance Week – Refugee Talk: Barbara Steinmetz tells her story about escaping Hitler’s Europe at 5:00 pm in Hale 230.

Friday

Hillel‘s first Coffee House Shabbat of the year, including live music from In The Buff a capella group and dinner featuring Argentinian inspired cuisine. The event is from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at CU Hillel.

Chabad‘s weekly Shabbat services and dinner at the Chabad house. Services start at 7:00 pm and dinner at 7:30 pm.

Saturday

Chabad’s Whiskey and Torah series installment Leaving Our Personal Egypt? from 8:30 to 10:00 pm at the Chabad house.
