DENVER, Colo.— JEWISHcolorado is currently accepting applications on behalf of two Young Women’s Scholarship Funds, made possible through generous donations from the families of Linda Fenner and Becky Topelson. Each year, the funds award up to $6,000 in scholarships. Applicants must be Jewish women between the ages of 21 and 45 who have been identified as leaders or as having leadership potential in the Jewish community. They must be Colorado residents.
The purpose of the scholarship fund is to enable young Jewish women to participate in educational conferences, missions to Israel, or other young adult programs that develop leadership skills. Eligible programs should teach leadership skills, contain creative and interactive elements where Jewish women can network, and build self-esteem.
The application deadline is Friday, October 2nd with decisions being made by Friday October 23rd. Applications may be downloaded or completed online at JEWISHcolorado.org/community-resources/scholarships.
