Boulder Hadassah Honors 5 at First Shoshanim Brunch

Boulder Chapter of Hadassah held its first Shoshanim Brunch on Sunday to raise money for Hadassah’s medical centers in Israel. This inaugural event honored five local women: Cheryl Fellows, Liz Fox, Linda Loewenstein, Judy Megibow and Estelle Miller.

About 160 people attended the brunch at the Hotel Boulderado. The event included a silent auction, fabulous food and remarks from Desert-Mountain Regional President Cathy Olswing.  Each honoree was introduced by a dear friend.  More updates to follow.  Enjoy some photos from the day.

I've been writing things since grammar school, and served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. Mindful Returning this Holiday Season

The Boulder JCC has begun offering in-person meditation on Thursday mornings from 9 to 9:30 a.m. In these 30 minute sessions there is a short Jewish mindfulness teaching, 18 minutes of silence, several minutes for voluntary sharing, and the reciting of a healing prayer, and Kaddish.
