Week in Review: May 31st, 2013

bjn-logo8-200x200-blueShabbat shalom!  The end of May has finally arrived, and with June starting tomorrow, that means the Boulder Jewish Festival is right around the corner.  This year’s event on Sunday June 9th will mark the 19th Festival, and it has come a long, long way since the first, wet, festival in 1995.  Hopefully, we’ll see you all there next weekend!

Meanwhile, as for this weekend, tonight the Boulder JCC is having a Shabbat in the Park in Superior Community Park at 6:00 pm, there is a class for women and girls at Chabad of Boulder tomorrow, and the weather is supposed to be fabulous, so get out and get active!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
