Shabbat Shalom! And happy secular new year! And the year is starting off fast out of the blocks (a running reference). Our Boulder Jewish Community attracted some national attention as we had a story about us posted by JTA just before the new year, we have a nationally know rabbi and author in residence this weekend, and Rabbi Goldfeder stirred up some on-line dialog through a posting about changing distinctions in the Jewish world.
In fact, Thursday was a first at the Boulder Jewish News — all of our posts — four to be exact — were written by local rabbis. It is so interesting and gratifying to be living in a community that provides such diversity of thought and yet manages to be friendly and united at the same.
Enjoy the posts, be sure to read the comments (and post your own if your viewpoint isn’t represented yet) and have a beautiful, restful Shabbat!
