Week in Review: October 22nd, 2010

Shabbat Shalom!  So the holidays ended, and there were a few weeks of relative calm. .  . and now it’s nonstop through Chanukah! The Movers program continues, the Festival of Books and Culture begins, and synagogue events abound.

Keep it all straight by checking the Boulder Jewish Community Calendar. Organizations and volunteers can use the calendar to check for potential conflicts. You can use it to add an event to your own calendar, sign up for text-message or email reminders, share calendar listings with friends and more.  You can even subscribe to a weekly email of just the calendar listings – it’s pretty neat and free! Click on “subscribe” on the calendar page to check it out.

Miss an article? You can see the Weekly Review from past weeks with this link. You can also find articles by specific authors by clicking on the “Authors” tab in the sidebar – then scroll down to see them all. Like what you read? Comment on the article – authors love getting feedback! And please share articles with your friends – by email, Facebook or Twitter.

Have a great week!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
