Letter: Taishya Adams’ Anti-Israel Bias

Letter: Taishya Adams’ Anti-Israel Bias

Dear Mayor Brockett, City Council members and City Manager Rivera-Vandermyde:

Enough is enough. Here are two recent social media posts by member Taishya Adams, Council’s supposed-to-be politically neutral Liaison to the supposed-to-be politically neutral BNSCP:

Mayor Brockett, it is time to immediately remove member Adams from that position. You can no longer credibly maintain that Adams is competent to continue as the liaison. This is not a question of First Amendment rights; she can say whatever she wants. Nor is this a question of what she posts in her personal capacity vs in her official capacity. Adams has expressly demonstrated that she is not politically neutral when it comes to Israel, and she has done that via remarks arising from her participation on a BNSCP trip.

I recognize that this may not be politically convenient for you, Mayor Brockett, but there comes a time when your duty to all of the public supersedes your political interests, your concern for “not splitting the Council” as you stated to Rachel Amaru and I during our meeting with you on September 15, 2024 and your fear of member Adams that you all but expressly admitted in that meeting.  And that time is now.

  1. She also refused to sign the letter denouncing the antisemitic terror event on Sunday. we promised "never again." She needs to go.

  2. Tayisha Adams must be removed from the service as a pi license servant of Colorado, she poses a danger to all citizens with her anti American, anti Semitic, and anti Zionist stance.. anyone who equates anti zionism as okay is anti Semitic but they like to pretend there is a difference.. anyone who knows anything about Israel and jews know that zionism goes hand in hand.. you can't hate one and not the other!! Most of those who condemn zionism donr even know what it means in obvious videos when asked what it means they never really know.. it means Jews should be allowed self determination and a safe home in their homeland!! That is all!! I am a proud Zionist and adams wants me dead!! That's what I read in her messages!!
