Celebrate Shavuot in Community with Haver

Celebrate Shavuot in Community with Haver

Join Haver, the Rabbinic Council of Boulder, as we celebrate Shavuot, a holiday commemorating receiving the Torah at Mt. Sinai, on May 25-26.

Each year, Haver rabbis carefully curate a theme that speaks to contemporary concerns while rooted in our rich history of Torah. This year’s theme is

צדק וּמשׁפט מכוֹן כסאוֹ: Foundations of Righteousness, Justice & Law

This year, the program features two panel discussions – one composed of Haver rabbis and the other of local community activists. The panels are followed by several engaging learning sessions, a break for cheesecake, and culminating in midnight meditation held at Jewish midnight.

The program begins Thursday evening May 25th at 7:30pm at Congregation Bonai Shalom and runs through 1:30am Friday morning May 26th. For those who cannot make it, the panels and some breakout sessions will be available via Bonai Shalom’s livestream.

This event sponsored by Haver is free and open to everyone. For program details, visit www.boulderhaver.org/events
