LaLevav – Coming Home to the Heart: A Contemplative Retreat

As we enter thLaLevav – Coming Home to the Heart: A Contemplative Retreate month of Elul, Rabbi Tirzah Firestone leads this day-long journey with chant, study, and guided meditations to prepare for High Holidays. The focus will be on the subtle agreements, contracts, and compromises we have made with ourselves that limit the full, radiant expression of our souls and keep us stuck in habitual behaviors that hinder our evolving consciousness.

She will be joined by pianist Sheldon Sands, restorative yoga instructor Matt Kipnis, who will lead us in a non-effortful form of yoga to relax, replenish, and release deep layers of tension, and harpist Margot Krimmel, whose music will help us penetrate and reawaken the wisdom of our hearts, levav chochmah.

All are welcome to attend on Saturday, Aug. 18, 9am.-3:30 p.m. (Check-in 8:30 a.m.). The cost is $90 per guest.  Location: CUCC, 2650 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, CO  80305.
