Yom Kippur and Sukkot with Nevei Kodesh

Nevei Kodesh – an Oasis of Holiness – is a warm and welcoming Jewish Renewal community in Boulder, CO. Whether you are looking for a Jewish spiritual path; emotionally transformative musical services; classes in Torah, Kabbalah or Jewish meditation; a “whole person” Jewish education for your child; a life-cycle celebration, or a place to find great community, come visit or give us a call.

We’d love to meet you!

Pre-Sukkot Painting Party and Ice Cream Social
Friday, October 7th, 3-5PM Click for Details

Last year the wind tore through and damaged some of our Sukkah panels, so this year we are planning on adding new splashes of color to our Nevei Sukkah!

Come join master artist Lael Har – our Hebrew and art specialist in the NK Religious School – and Rabbi Diane for a fun afternoon of painting curtains for the sukkah and shmoozing. Then join us Sunday evening, October 9, in our Sukkah for our community-wide potluck to enjoy the fruits of our labor! Treats provided courtesy of NKRS.

Sukkah Construction and Decorating
Sunday, October 9th, 2-5PM
(During religious school class hours)

Please come help put up our beautiful sukkah! We have a permanent wood frame for our sukkah and we have materials in storage. We use bamboo rolls to serve as our roof and we secure the bamboo rolls with zip ties to withstand winds. Next, we hang sheets, cloths and curtains as walls. The ceiling and walls are decorated to celebrate the harvest. Building the sukkah is a ton of fun and we need lots of hands to make it happen!

Thanks for volunteering to create our shared dwelling space!
