Jewish Broadway 2026 proudly presents Schmaltz is the Word, a fun-loving spoof on the musical, Grease (since schmaltz is Yiddish for chicken fat/grease). You’ll hear songs like “Hebrew School Dropout,” “Shabbes Nights,” and “Greased Latkes.” What’s not to like?
It’s a show and a 1950’s style prom, so wear your best prom dress, tux, or whatever makes you feel festive.
