Shabbat shalom! Our high holiday prayers for rain have been answered this week, along with a drop in temperatures that have caused foliage to turn colors … and then fall off in the rain and wind. Last night, Haver and Har HaShem hosted a very successful Israel Solidarity event. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with our family in Israel during this tense time.
Congregation Har HaShem formally installs Rabbi Fred Greene this weekend. BJN welcomes Rabbi Greene and looks forward to working with him in the community. Be sure to check out the events happening over Shabbat, to which the community is invited.
Have a great weekend, stay warm and dry, and enjoy this week’s stories in the BJN.
