Week in Review: August 31st, 2012

Shabbat shalom! Exciting week in Boulder with the USA Procycling Challenge last Shabbat. . . and a visit from an Israeli cyclist this Shabbat. . .and even the President this coming weekend. Schools are back in session (more or less – BVSD is off today!), the CU students have returned, we’ve had an occasional cooler day and wow – even a blue moon.

This week, since biking was one of the top local stories – what do you think about biking on Shabbat? Click to leave a comment.

And – now that schools are back in session, many organizations have opportunities for internships – including the Boulder Jewish News. Know a budding journalist? Please connect us!

Have a great long weekend!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
