This Week for CU’s Jewish Buffs

CU’s Jews are in for an exciting week, which concludes with Shabbat 500!

Tuesday

Hillel’s Weekly BBQ is at 6:00 p.m. at Hillel, located at 2785 Colorado Avenue.

Wednesday

Chabad holds a Jewish Law class in the Center for Community on CU’s campus at 12:30 p.m.

Thursday

Chabad also has a  Talmud class in the Center for Community on CU’s campus at 11:00 a.m.

In addition, Chabad holds its “Latte & Learning” class at Starbucks on University at 8:00 p.m.

Friday

Join CU’s Chabad and Hillel for Shabbat 500! This event attempts to bring 500 Jewish students together in the UMC Ballroom. Reform, Conservative and Orthodox services are at 6:00 p.m.; the Kosher Shabbat dinner is at 7:00 p.m. RSVP is a must- shabbat500@gmail.com. Don’t miss this large event!
