Shabbat shalom! Did January really go by that fast?

Week in Review: January 29th, 2010

Shabbat shalom!  Last night BJN attended two speaking events about Israel, but with different topics — IDF Brig. Gen. (ret.) Effie Eitam visiting CU and encouraging student and faculty advocacy for Israel, and Professor Zach Levey from CU speaking on West Bank Settlements and their impact on the peace process at the JCC. Look for pictures and an interview with Eitam after Shabbat.

The BJN welcomes new advertiser Evie Cohen, who was the winner of a one-year ad at the Bialywood silent auction last month.   BJN has donated another one-year ad to the Reflections silent auction in February, so join us at the party and bid it up to benefit the Boulder Jewish Community Center.

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
