Haver, the Boulder Council of Rabbis and Cantors, is seeking a Part-Time Coordinator for its Introduction to Judaism program.

Boulder Haver is a is a non-profit organization composed of leaders from diverse denominations working together to provide programs and services that enrich and nurture the ever-changing needs of our Jewish community. We collaborate on numerous programs and projects throughout the year to sustain Jewish life in Boulder County as well as support individuals in need of pastoral counsel and care.

Job Description

The ITJ Coordinator supports teachers, assists students and helps them feel connected to Jewish learning, serves the on-site point-of-contact with the Boulder JCC, manages basic logistics, and identifies student needs, class dynamics, and next steps for the program. In addition, this position requires administrative work such as taking attendance, setting up and monitoring Zoom during each class, and coordinating student-teacher interactions. Additional duties may include managing logistics and helping students coordinate social connections outside of class (via WhatsApp or group text).

The ITJ Coordinator will be available to work approximately 2-4 hours per week during the academic year and attend all twenty ITJ sessions in person at the Boulder JCC held on Tuesday evenings beginning October 20, 2026 and ending April 13, 2027 (no class on Jewish Holidays or when BVSD is not in session). This position pays $26 per hour for non-clergy.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is warm, reliable, organized, welcoming and practical. This person should be able to communicate clearly, notice group dynamics, and follow through on details. They must have basic knowledge of Google Docs, and be able to learn OWL set up. They do not need to be a teacher. They do need to care about the students, the teachers, and the purpose of ITJ.
