Dear Letter to the Editor:
Truth often helps reduce fear, and it obvious that Adam Eisenberg has allowed a mendacious mainstream media to stoke his fears. (“Opinion: I’m A Jew and I’m Scared,” Boulder Jewish News 12/11/25)
First, do the math, Adam. There is no genocide.
1947-1948: One million Arabs from the River to the Sea.
2023-2024: Eleven million Arabs call themselves Palestinian.
Genocide? Give me a break!
As far as Gaza. Over the last year there has been a 2.8% population INCREASE in Gaza. See World Population Review.com 2025. A Population INCREASE!
In every documented genocide in history there has been a dramatic population decrease in the people suffering genocide. For example from 1933-1945 while the German people were committing the genocide of the Jews of Europe that Jewish population decreased from 11,000,000 to 5,000,000. It did not increase 2.8% to 11,308,000.
To put it simply population increase and genocide are mutually exclusive. There is no genocide in Gaza notwithstanding how many antisemitic Hamas sycophants in the mainstream media and academia promote this mendacious balderdash.
Second, if Mr. Eisenberg wants the TRUTH about Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, Palestine Islamic Jihad and every one of their 6000 supporters who participated in October 7, a most unlikely source for TRUTH has emerged to help alleviate Mr. Eisenberg’s fears: Amnesty International. Since October 7 on a practically daily basis Amnesty International has issued calumnies indicting the Jewish people for defending themselves against the murder of 1200 Jews in a Pearl-Harbor-like attack which had a savagery that Adolf Eichmann could only have dreamed of.
Yet after 26 months of promoting these antisemitic calumnies which the mainstream media has lapped up like a kitten laps up milk, Amnesty International has “found religion.”
On December 11, 2025 Amnesty International – belatedly (26 months) and surprisingly – issued an erudite and voluminous (171 pages) report documenting the koranic savagery of “Hamas and other Palestinian Armed Groups during the attacks of 7 Oct 2023 in southern Israel and the treatment of those seized and held captive in the occupied Gaza Strip.” See: “Israel/Occupied Palestinian Territories: Targeting Civilians, Murder, Hostage Taking and Other Violations By Armed Groups in Israel and Gaza.” Amnesty International Index # MDE 15/0282/2025.
Yet the mainstream media who for over two years has reported with breathless Jew hating fanaticism Amnesty International’s often specious criticism of the Jewish people of Israel’s democratically elected government now projects a DEAFENING SILENCE when Amnesty International studiously validates much of what the Jewish people of Israel have documented about the foundational sadism of every Arab who participated in the 1200 murders on October 7 and every Arab who kidnapped, tortured and often murdered Jews kidnapped on October 7.
The DEAFENING SILENCE that you hear Mr. Eisenberg concerning Amnesty International ‘s condemnation of the foundational Islamic sadism that Israel was confronted with on 10/7 is based on the Jew hatred of the mainstream media that will not allow them to print criticism of Arabs, particularly any criticism that clearly reveals the evil of Arab agency towards Jews.
Let’s not get too excited about one decent Arab on Bondi Beach that the mainstream media is gushing about. It is the 6000 typical Arabs described in Amnesty International ‘s 12/11/25 report that the mainstream media is intentionally ignoring.
It appears that you have to make a choice Mr. Eisenberg.
You can embrace the mendacity of the mainstream media and be Zionophobic. Zionophobia, a condition described by Professor Judea Pearl, Daniel Pearl’s father, as “the absolute denial of Israel’s right to exist.” See: “Coexistence and Other Fighting Words,” Selected Writings of Judea Pearl, 2002-2025, “Epilogue. The Crater of October 7,” page 144.
Or you can be a Zionist and embrace the sole 3500-year-old foundational narrative of the Jewish Bible, the only source of Judaism: the Jewish people’s Return to Zion – what today is Israel. Zionism.
Unfortunately because of the Zionophobia of most of today’s journalists and academics, Jews live in a manichean world not of their choosing where you ultimately are a Zionophobe or a Zionist. Of course for a Jew to be a Zionophobe is to internalize Jew hatred.
Life involves choices for everyone including Jews. At this time for a Jew that is your choice, Mr. Eisenberg. Having clarity about the reality you live in and the actual choice that you face should reduce your fears.
