Hiking, Happy Hours, and Heartfelt Connections: Adventure Rabbi Hosts Summer Hikes

Boulder, CO — This summer, the Adventure Rabbi community is inviting adults to lace up their hiking boots and head into the great outdoors for a unique blend of connection, conversation, and Colorado sunshine.

Dubbed “Summer Evening Hikes & Happy Hours with Board Members,” these event brings together community members and Adventure Rabbi board members for relaxed hikes followed by casual dinners at local eateries. It’s a simple formula with a powerful intention: deepen relationships through shared experiences in nature.

The hikes aren’t meant to be strenuous—just a fun, low-key way to connect. “We believe that being outdoors with others helps build deeper, more meaningful relationships,” said a representative from Adventure Rabbi. “There’s something about walking side-by-side on a trail that allows conversation to flow and friendships to blossom.”

Each event is completely free and open to adults, whether they’re Adventure Judaism veterans or newcomers curious about the community. After each hike, attendees are welcome to join the group for snacks and drinks at a nearby restaurant.

Event Schedule:

Monday, May 12, 2025: Hike at 6 PM (NCAR) → Dinner at 7:30 PM (Southern Sun)
Tuesday, June 24, 2025: Hike at 5:30 PM (Chautauqua) → Dinner at 7 PM (West End Tavern)
Wednesday, July 9, 2025: Hike at 5:30 PM (Gregory Canyon) → Dinner at 7 PM (T/ACO)
Thursday, August 7, 2025: Hike at 6 PM (Anne U White) → Dinner at 7:30 PM (Proto’s Pizza)

The event reflects one of the core philosophies of Adventure Judaism: that spiritual and communal growth often starts on the trail. By combining the natural beauty of Boulder’s landscapes with casual, meaningful interaction, the community hopes to offer a refreshing alternative to traditional social events.

So whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking to meet some new people over a slice of pizza, the invitation stands: come as you are, bring a friend, or fly solo. Either way, you’re bound to leave with full hearts, tired legs, and a few new friends.

RSVP 48 hours in advance to receive the exact meeting location and be in the loop if anything changes. Come enjoy some trail time, talk time, and tacos.
