The Jewish View of Death and Burial, Presented by BCJ and BJCC

The Jewish View of Death and Burial, Presented by BCJ and BJCC

Unfortunately, death is a part of life.

For thousands of years, Jews have held burial in strict adherence to our traditions as a most sacred ritual.

On Thursday, February 16th, Boulder Center for Judaism and the Boulder JCC invite you to join us for an unexpectedly upbeat event that will demystify this important subject.

1:00 – 2:00 pm: Talk by Doron Kornbluth: The Jewish View of Death & Burial, followed by Q&A.

Doron Kornbluth spent over three years speaking with experts and examining the Jewish philosophy behind burial. His best-selling book, “Cremation or Burial? A Jewish View,” has changed the discourse on Jewish burial.

2:00 – 3:00 pm: Post Event Social with light refreshments.

This unique event will be held at the Boulder JCC/Levin Hall, 6007 Oreg Ave.

Thanks to our event partnership with the Boulder JCC and the sponsorship of the Harry Beren Foundation, Greenwood & Myers Mortuary, Crist Mountain View, this event is FREE to all.

Prior RSVP is mandatory and can be done online at Boulderjcc.org/Jewishviewsondeath, via email at lbkosher@gmail.com (please include your name + any other attendees who plan to join you), or by calling Chany at 303.494.1638.

We hope to see YOU Thursday, February 16, at 1:00 pm, at the Boulder JCC Levin Hall.
