In the wake of the deaths of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, and so many others, a group of Boulder Jewish activists have come together to garner support for the Black Lives Matter Movement, which is a continuation of the civil rights movement.
We are engaging in dialogue about what we, as Jews, can do to support Boulder and Denver’s Black communities, and potentially other Black communities in the US.

I thought that the Department of Justice, under Attorney General Eric Holder, determined that there was no civil rights violation with respect to the death of Michael Brown.
BlackLivesMatter is a paid political stunt by George Soros and others attempting to use such events as a wedge issue to support a Progressive agenda. This is straight out of the Saul Alinsky playbook. I know, I was a Saul Alinskyite myself. It is not a continuation of the old Civil Rights movement. I know about that as well, having personally participated. I am pretty sure Martin Luther King, Jr. would not buy into this movement as it goes about its activism today. These people leading it are more akin to Reverend Wright, Elijah Muhammad and the Nation of Islam, and, oh yes, the New Black Panther Party (now I think renamed simply, like its fascist forebears, the Black Panther Party.
