“Ayeka? Where are you?” is the first question in the Torah. Do you know who/what/when God is?
Ayeka is an interdenominational program designed to provide a safe agenda-free space in which to explore personal beliefs and feelings about God. It will help you to find your own answers.
This is a four-session introduction to the Ayeka program. If there is interest, the full Ayeka program will be offered in the fall. Co-sponsored by Congregation Har HaShem and the Boulder JCC’s Maimonides Wellness Center. Supported by 18 Pomegranates.
This course will meet on these Thursdays: April 14, April 28, May 5 and May 26, from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. The cost is $40 for 4-session course. Open to all, but enrollment will be limited to 20 people. Sessions will be at Congregation Har HaShem’s North Building, in the upstairs school wing.
The class will be taught by Alice Gansfield, who was trained as a facilitator by Ayeka director and founder Rabbi Aryeh Ben David. For more information about the class, call Alice at (720) 406-8890. Register online here.
After just finishing a full course of Ayeka with Aryeh Ben-David here in Jerusalem, I highly recommend at least a taste. And for some pre-Pesach hilarity, check out Ayeka’s short video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNJnQUqKLBc
and follow the link there for seder planning ideas.
