Tish B’av: Toward Renewal

Tish B’av: Toward Renewal

The Divine forced our hearts to feel.
Disorder and destruction came.
The walls fell.

Crawling forward
through our tears—
slowly we rise through the rubble
towards renewal.

Through compassion, discernment, and love,
our faith awakens, as we listen to the still small voice.
Wisdom reveals our deeper unity.

Coming to know Truth ,
a new paradigm arrives—
there is a higher reality beyond the self.

From here,
we are told
when we live with Joy ,
That is when
Moshiach arrives.

About Todd Greenberg

Through prayer, worship, Torah Study, and Kabbalah I have been inspired to write poetry that tends more to the spiritual and mystical aspects found in Judaism. What comes "through" me I try to put into words. I hope that at least some of what I post to BJN will resonate with you and that you find inspiration from it for your own journey. Thank you for allowing to share my writings. Blessings, Todd
