Lag B’Omer is coming up on Thursday, May 23. On Lag B’Omer communities across the world gather to celebrate the life of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the father of KABBALAH. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai was a famous first century Tannaic sage, and the author of the famed Zohar, the chief work of the Kabbalah. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai requested that all people inspired by his teachings, come together in unity and celebration on his day of passing.
Boulder Center for Judaism is providing a fun program on Thursday, May 23, 4:30-6:30 pm with choices for the entire family. Enjoy sizzling shish kebabs, succulent burgers, an array of salads and a celebration of unity.
