Looking for some Purim family fun? Join us on Sunday, March 4th at the Boulder JCC for the annual Boulder Community Purim Carnival! This family-friendly celebration brings together the entire Boulder Jewish community. With carnival games, bouncy castles, falafel, hamantaschen, and loads of prizes, this is sure to be a joyous and entertaining day for all! Please come dressed in your favorite costume.
Once again, we will be offering a “Sensory-friendly” hour from 9:30 – 10:30 am, where the activities and environment will be designed for families with children who have sensory challenges. From 10:30 – 11:00 am, there will be a fun and lively Purim Shpiel and parade, led by Leah Boonin and Caroline Saliman. The carnival will be open to the general public starting at 11:00 am.
There is a flat rate for each child wishing to participate in the games and activities. Each paid registrant will receive a wristband which will include all of the games and outdoor activities. Food will not be included in the flat rate, so please bring some cash or a credit card to purchase food.
Registration is required for all participants, so pre-register, save time and money, and REGISTER HERE. The pre-event registration rate (valid until March 4 at 8:00 am) is $10 per child for first two children in family and $6 per child for each additional child in family. The day of registration rate will be $12 per child for first two children and $8 per child for each additional child.
Part of the Purim tradition is charity and giving back to the community. What better way to fulfill this mitzvah than volunteering at the Purim Carnival! You can ensure that everyone has a fantastic Purim experience, all while having loads of fun yourself! If you are interested in helping at the Purim Carnival, please sign up to volunteer.
