Baruch Dayan Ha’emet: Beverly Goodman, z”l

Bev Goodman (Silverberg), Chaya Breindel bat Shimshon v’Shaindel, passed away early this morning in Denver, after many years of living with Alzheimers.  Beverly, along with her husband Ron, was a beloved and active member at Bonai Shalom, where Bev served as chair of both membership and Hesed committees. She is survived by her daughter Tamah (Tom), son Gabriel (Debora) and grandchildren Sasha and Carlos. Bev was much loved as a mother and grandmother.

There will be a funeral service on Wednesday February 21st at 9:00 am at Bonai Shalom, followed by a graveside service at approximately 10:30 am at Green Mountain Cemetery, 290 20th St, Boulder, CO 80302.

Following burial, people are invited to Tamah and Tom Matejka’s home 626 14th Street, Boulder. Do feel free to bring food. The family want to make sure that people unable to come to graveside (due to weather and mobility) are welcome at the house.  If you are able to make it to the cemetery, we do want to be sure we have a minyan.
There will also be one gathering for shiva at their home on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm.
Bev loved children and the family have requested that anyone wanting to make a donation in Bev’s memory, donate to an organization that supports children’s health and nutrition, especially internationally.

May Beverly’s soul be at peace, her memory a blessing and we wish strength and comfort to the mourners.
