Shabbat shalom! This week, we’re excited about the Israeli cycling team that has come to Colorado to compete in next week’s USA Pro Challenge, beginning Monday in Steamboat Springs. Keep an eye out for announcements of opportunities to see, meet and/or cheer on the team during the week.
Also, our congratulations go out to Andy Franklin of Boulder, who this week was named Treasurer of JEWISHcolorado after several stints of serving on their board and various committees over the last couple of decades. Andy joins Jackie Sprinces Wong, Campaign Chair, as Boulder volunteers serving in senior leadership JEWISHcolorado positions this year.
Be sure to check out Connecting to Jewish Boulder, the BJN’s new business directory. Find all kinds of businesses and service providers in the Boulder area who are supporters of the Jewish community. If you have a business or service you’d like to offer to the community, submit your business here, or check to see if it’s already listed — and then claim your listing by clicking the “Claim This Listing” link.
Have a great weekend, and enjoy this week’s stories in the BJN.
