Time for Romance

Genesis says little about Joseph’s wife Asenath. But this Greek Jewish story reveals how they met and how she became Israelite and the pair together defeat their enemies, including Joseph’s own brothers. This story is very controversial today because it contains Christian additions and it has even been suggested that Joseph and Asenath model Jesus and Mary Magdelene.

Come study this wild love story with Dr. Naomi Susan Schwartz Jacobs. Mondays 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Bonai Shalom starting November 2nd. Email artsypoets@gmail.com for course materials. Suggested donation $10-$15 per session.
