Eckerd College Hillel Jewish Scuba Camp

Eckerd College Hillel, part of the Hillels of the Florida Suncoast, is offering a unique summer camp experience for middle school and high school students. Tikkun Ha​Y​am: Repair the Seas Jewish Scuba Camp is a week-long overnight camp to be held ​on the campus of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg,​ Florida​, in which participants will receive an Open Water Scuba Certification and will learn about Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World) and other Jewish tenets. Camp cost includes SSI Open Water Scuba Certification, lodging and all meals for the week.

Session 1 is June 14-19 for rising 7th, 8th and 9th grade students, with a limit of 15 campers.

Session 2 is June 21-26 for rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade students, with a limit of 20 campers. Register for Tikkun Ha​Yam at www.suncoasthillels.org/scubacamp. Registration deadline is May 15, 2015.
