Jerome Liebowitz z”l

Jerome Liebowitz (Yosef ben Yitzhak halevi v’Hanna), Jay Liebowitz’s father, passed away in the early hours of Monday morning in New York. He had been struggling with Alzheimer’s, but his death was quite sudden in the night.

The funeral will be at Sinai Chapel in Queens at 11:30 am on Sunday, June 12 and Jay will sit the first days of shiva in his father’s house before returning to Boulder on Wednesday.

We will have two nights of shiva minyanim back in Boulder on Wednesday, June 15 and Thursday June 16, evenings at 8:00 pm for mincha and maariv.

Both of these will be held at common house at Nyland Cohousing. From Bonai, go south on Cherryvale, make left to go east on Baseline. After lights on 75th and 76th go to top of hill on Baseline and make a right (about 86th Street if it were marked) at Lafayette Water Treatment Plant onto Nyland Way . Go to traffic circle at end. Common House is on south side of circle. So go completely around the circle and then go back out on Nyland Way to park, since parking is only on the outbound side of the street. Shiva will be on the second floor.

Guest Parking is permitted only on Nyland Way (the public street). No parking is permitted in the residential lots or carports.

We wish Jay and his family blessings of strength and comfort in their mourning and alav hashalom – peace on the soul of Yosef ben Yitzhak haLevi v’Hanna.
