Are you looking for something new and exciting for your kids to do this summer? The Boulder JCC is offering two awesome summer camps – Miners Alley Theatre Camp and JumpBunch Sports Camp; two very affordable and fun opportunities for your kids!
Miners Alley Playhouse and the Boulder JCC Present Kid’s Eye Theatre – Theatre for Kids & Teens
This summer intensive program for ages 8-13 has kids building a play from the ground up. They will have fun learning their lines, exploring their character, getting those tricky theatre words down and of course, dressing up in costumes! The program ends the week by performing a 20-30 minute play for family and friends complete with lights and set. This program runs Monday, July 19 – Thursday, July 22, from 9 am to 4 pm each day. The cost is only $150. Sibling discounts are available, and the program is limited to 15 students, so don’t wait to sign your kid(s) up. JumpBunch Sports Camp at the Boulder JCC
Your child aged 5 -10 will learn about a variety of sports during JumpBunch Sports Sampler camp. The program gears the instruction of each sport towards improving motor skills and hand/eye coordination through practice and fun games, with an emphasis on learning team and sports skills, cooperation and sportsmanship. Children will learn the rules of each game, and engage in friendly, non-competitive scrimmages. Activities will include football, baseball, hockey, lacrosse, soccer and more. The program runs from Monday, August 2 through Friday, August, 6, 9 am – noon each day on the Boulder JCC Field & Gym. The cost is $125 per child. Register for JumpBunch here. The registration deadline is Monday, July 26. Campers are asked to bring a water bottle and snack each day and to wear sunscreen. If there are enough campers, there will be two separate groups, ages 5-7 and 8-10.
