JEWISHcolorado’s Shinshinim Going and Coming

Farewell to Last Year’s Shinshinim

One year ago, JEWISHcolorado’s five Shinshinim arrived with high hopes for building connections between Israel and Colorado. Last week, they returned to Israel after a year of service and just before beginning the next chapter—serving in the army. Before they left, JEWISHcolorado spoke with them about their future plans and their favorite memories from the past year. Read their full stories and reflections.

Meet Our New Shinshinim!

Just as the last group of Shinshinim returned to Israel, a new group has arrived here in Colorado. We’re thrilled to welcome our five new Shinshinim: Tomer, Maayan, Adi, Liraz, and Alma. This is the second year we have hosted five Shinshinim, and we’re excited to introduce them to you in the coming weeks. We look forward to a year filled with meaningful work and deepening connections between our Shinshinim and the community. Watch their video introduction to our community!

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
