Get Moving, Creating, and Playing: Fall Afterschool Programs at the Boulder JCC!

Looking for fun, enriching afterschool activities for your kids this fall? The Boulder JCC has you covered with a dynamic lineup of programs designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and help kids stay active after the school day ends. Whether your child loves to move to the beat, get their hands messy with clay, or try their hand at a new sport, there’s something for everyone.

Here’s what’s in store this season:

Hip Pop with Shari Polis
Move, groove, and shine!

This high-energy dance class is more than just movement—it’s about self-expression, friendship, and confidence. With choreography designed for every age and skill level, kids will explore new moves, learn to perform in groups, and discover their own unique dance style. Open to all who love to dance—or just want to try something new and fun!

Afterschool Youth Ceramics
Creative clay adventures await!

Let your child’s imagination take shape in this hands-on art class that blends traditional ceramics with mixed media magic. From sculpting and painting to incorporating fun materials, kids will create one-of-a-kind pieces while building artistic confidence. No experience necessary—just bring curiosity!

Afterschool Youth Volleyball
Serve, set, spike—let’s play!

Ready to jump into volleyball? Led by the former Varsity Head Coach at Fairview High School, this 10-week intro series is perfect for 6th–8th graders who are new to the game. Learn the fundamentals, develop teamwork, and have fun on the court in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

    Wednesdays, September 10 – December 3 (No class September 24, October 1 & November 26) | 4:15–5:15 pm | $210

School Day Out Adventures
Unplug, explore, and make memories!

Get ready for non-stop fun with our School Day Out programs! Designed to align with local school calendars, these action-packed days are bursting with excitement. Kids will rotate through themed activities, including sports and games, creative arts and crafts, dance, story time, and hands-on experiences at the Milk and Honey Farm. Open to children in kindergarten through 5th grade, these full-day programs offer a safe and joyful environment when school is out.
